Badger of Honor offers its snap reactions to the action between the Wisconsin Badgers and Purdue Boilermakers on a wet Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Badgers take on Purdue from a rainy Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday afternoon.  Bucky is a heavy favorite and needs a win to continue on pace to claim the Big Ten West.

With another win, the Badgers may be able to continue its cautious climb up the national ranks.

Some losses in the top ten have already shaken the college football world this week. Both #2 Clemson and #8 Washington State lost on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, #6 TCU has a tough task playing at Kansas State.  Plus, #5 Washington plays at Arizona State later today.  We need not remind Wisconsin fans that crazy (illegal) things can happen in Tempe after dark.

As we wrote in our Purdue preview, the Boilermakers appear to be on the upswing in a rebuilding year under new management.  First year head coach Jeff Brohm has Purdue at 3-2, with some competitive losses to Louisville and Michigan.

Wisconsin will be without senior receiver Jazz Peavy who really hasn’t gotten going yet this year.  Another wrinkle will be how both teams acclimate to the wet and rainy weather covering Camp Randall Stadium.

Nonetheless, the Badgers should continue its winning ways against the visiting Boilermakers.  The Purdue offense may be one-dimensional.

The Boilermakers may frequently find itself behind the chains dealing with an experienced Badger secondary and vibrant pass rush.

Offensively, we’ll look to see how Wisconsin redshirt sophomore  quarterback Alex Hornibrook’s confidence is doing amid a few shaky performance.  So scroll through and see our snap reactions to the Wisconsin Badgers and Purdue Boilermakers.
