Question 5: Care to offer a prediction for Iowa and Wisconsin?

Dear Old Gold:

I was among 2 of 7 at Dear Old Gold who stuck with the Hawks over the Buckeyes.  No way myself, or anyone else saw the bloodbath that it became.

This one will be closer I imagine.  I expect it to be a lot more entertaining than the “punt fest” it was last year.

If the Iowa offense hits on all cylinders like last week, I think they pull out a 24-23 winner, really making a mess of the Big Ten playoff picture.

Badger of Honor:
So props to Joe for sticking with his heart and picking Iowa over The Ohio State.  A bold call that paid off handsomely last weekend.

I’ll keep my powder dry a little bit here as I’ll write a formal prediction piece later this week.  I also want to see how the injury report looks for Badger football closer to kickoff before venturing too far out on a limb.

That said, I think the scoreline is probably right.  However, I think anything over 20 points would be a bountiful offensive performance for either side.

That said, I still like Wisconsin’s chances because I have so much confidence in the Badger defense and diversifying (thanks Garrett Groshek!) running game.
