The Teeth of the Big Ten Schedule

We’re back home for a showdown with the Illini, but then it’s back on the road for two that don’t look favorable. Iowa and Michigan State are brutal as the visitors.

I just don’t like Illinois’ lack of experience. They lost too much from a team that wasn’t even good to begin with.

The fact that Kendrick Nunn transferred out doesn’t make much sense. They couldn’t get it down when all of their top scorers were healthy for a season, there’s no reason why they should this season.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are expected to have a similar season to the Badgers. Two key players are back including their great point guard. Iowa did lose their knock down shooter, but they are still going to be competitive.

The Hawkeyes will finish around .500 in league play. They will pick up a couple good wins and this certainly will be one.

There’s no way the Badgers win in East Lansing. This Spartans team is capable of winning it all.

There’s no doubt that they are going to be a top-5 team all season. Miles Bridges will most likely win the Naismith and Tom Izzo will be back in the final four with a chip on his shoulder.

17-5 seems like a really good record for such a young team at this point in the Badger basketball season preview.

It’s realistic though and that’s why you need to believe in Badger basketball as a power house in college hoops.
