We’ll breakdown the schedule and I’ll give you the best and worst case scenarios for Wisconsin Badger basketball for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

19 straight NCAA Tournament appearances means something. 20 wins and and over .500 Big Ten record is realistic.

The Badgers get back-to-back home games in a span of three days to start the season. Friday night’s game should be a win. Sunday’s will actually give them a test.

There shouldn’t be any problem with South Carolina State and Yale. Bucky plays two teams named the Bulldogs to start the season.

The Bulldogs of South Carolina State went 11-20 last season. They won a conference tournament game, but got knocked out in the second round of the MEAC.

The Bulldogs from the Ivy went 18-10. They beat Harvard in the first round of the inaugural Ivy League Tournament, but lost to the eventual champion Princeton Tigers.

South Carolina State lost two of their top three scorers. The Badgers should be able to get their first win right away. Yale is going to be better than last year. Their top two scorers are back. The Badgers will face their first somewhat of a test, but they’ll be 2-0 after the first weekend.
