The Big Ten ACC Challenge

We’re all familiar with the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. It has gone up from 9 games in 1999 to 14 games this season. The Badgers always draw a good match up. This year it’s Virginia and we get to play against Tony Bennett.

The Cavaliers are one of the only teams in the country that matches up really well with Wisconsin. Their top three guys are gone.

I want to be able to say that the Badgers can use the height of Happ and Andy Van Vliet to win games. This will be one of them. The young back court will be battle tested by now to keep up with Virginia’s. It will go either way. We’ll now by then how it might play out. Not right now though.

If you’re keeping track of this Badger Basketball Season Preview, Bucky is something like 4-3 or 5-2 by this point in the season.

The Badger Basketball Season Preview has reached Big Ten Play. Yes, that’s right. League play starts early this season thanks to the Conference Tournament being one week before Selection Sunday now.

They will play Ohio State and Penn State before going back to non-conference play. They should start conference play 2-0, right? Wisconsin plays Ohio State on the evening of Saturday, December 2.
