Badger Basketball Season Preview
Avoiding a Bad Loss to the Drecks of the Big Ten Conference
There’s no way the Badgers’ winning streak ends to the Scarlet Knights or the Cornhuskers. They’ll be do for a loss. I understand that having a long winning streak will make a team vulnerable to lose one here or there.
These two will certainly be trap games. They look easy on paper, but we all know the Badgers are capable of losing games like these.
A few years ago when they dropped a weird one out in New Jersey sticks out in my mind. For now though I don’t see it happening.
The game against Purdue is an easy one that Badger fans have to come to grips with that they aren’t going to win. They are more experienced, more talented and will have home court advantage.
Wisconsin will be able to stretch the floor better, but the Boilermakers have the overall better team.
16-3 is a nice record for our Badger basketball season preview. But the real action and big statement games are about to begin.
We’re getting into late January. Losing streaks are almost a given. As much as the actual game is all about runs, so is the season.
