Cap a perfect regular season with a conference championship and the Badgers make the College Football Playoff.  Win with style and depending on results elsewhere, Bucky could continue to creep up the ranks and get a more befitting seed.

Now, we’ve already run down our The Ohio State preview and asked and answers five key questions for the game.  But we have yet to give you a formal prediction.  We’ll fix that right now.

This game will be more of a defensive slugfest than perhaps thought.  The Buckeyes have a respectable defense.  And you can ask 12 former opponents about the Badger defense.

As a result, much like the Michigan game, the special teams and field position will be critical.  While I think Wisconsin will have some trouble with the Buckeye front four, eventually the Badgers will carve out running lanes.

In addition, the Wisconsin defense shows once again while it need to be considered the best defense in the entire country.  Hobbled or not, JT Barrett won’t be able to sustain scoring drives.  As a result the field position and time of possession eventually exhausts The Ohio State defense.

Badger football punches its first ever ticket to the College Football Playoff and moves to 13-0 on the season.  Per usual, Jonathan Taylor pops some big runs late and Alex Hornibrook makes just enough plays in the passing games to get points.  The defense faces its toughest task against the Buckeyes and gets a couple turnovers to set up some easy Badger points.
