2. University of Michigan, 2012-2013

Is it possible that this team rivaled the 2012-2013 IU team in terms of talent? Yes.

Is it possible that this is the most talented Big Ten team since 2010, and also on this list? Yes.

If not for shady recruiting practices by the eventual champion Louisville, would this team be national champs? Quite possibly.

With an absolutely loaded roster that featured Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Glenn Robinson, Nik Stauskas, Mitch McGary, and Caris LeVert, Michigan finished the season as the most efficient offense in the country, according to Ken Pomeroy. Michigan lost a heart breaker to a very good Louisville team in the National Championship that year, but this Michigan team will not be forgotten.
