Clement was the 31st-best running back in 2017, according to Pro Football Focus, which classifies him as an average player at his position.

Clement burst onto the scene in the pros after being an undrafted free agent. The Eagles used several running backs in their offense in 2017, and Clement came up huge when called upon. He finished with over 400 yards of offense and six touchdowns. The regular season isn’t where he made his biggest splash though.

The Eagles, notably, won the Super Bowl last season. In the big game, Clement had four catches for 100 yards and a huge touchdown in the third quarter. The Patriots couldn’t keep him in check.

His numbers weren’t profound, but he made the plays he needed to make. Now that LeGarrette Blount is a Detroit Lion, running behind Ricky Wagner, Clement could be due for even more touches moving forward.

At Wisconsin

Clement had an up-and-down career at Wisconsin. After a promising sophomore season behind Melvin Gordon, he was expected to be the main back as a junior. An injury sidelined him and we had to wait for the full Corey Clement experience until his senior season in 2016. Luckily, it was worth the wait. Clement ran for over 1,500 yards and scored 15 touchdowns in his final year in Madison. The New jersey product helped pave the way for current Badger Jonathan Taylor, who is also from New Jersey.

Clement will be a large part of the Philadelphia offense in 2018 as the Eagles try to defend their Super Bowl Championship.
