Expectations for Michigan’s Devin Bush are through the roof after he burst onto the national scene with his outstanding play last season.

The Wolverines’ prized linebacker was one of the best players in the country as a sophomore. He was a tackling machine, racking up 102 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. Bush was a finalist for the Dick Butkus Award, an honor given to the nation’s top linebacker, and a First Team All-Big Ten and Second Team All-America selection.

Michigan fans should enjoy Bush’s dominance while they can, as there’s a good chance this will be his final season in Ann Arbor. Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft expert Matt Miller currently has a first round grade on him for the 2019 NFL Draft.

It’s not difficult to see why.

As his highlights show, Bush has outstanding speed and is a heat-seeking missile in pursuit of the ball carrier. He also shows instincts on his film that you simply cannot teach.

Bush should be in store for another huge year playing on arguably the nation’s best defense. Expect him to be one of the best players in the country once again and shoot further up draft boards this season.
