Wisconsin Football returns an embarrassment of riches along the offensive line in 2018.  This tough, gritty group of dairy-bred behemoths is ready to solidify themselves as the best unit in the country.

Wisconsin’s current offensive line could go down as one of the best units the program has ever seen.  That is truly saying something given Wisconsin’s tradition of graduating NFL-caliber linemen.  Not only is every starter returning to Madison this year, but the talent developing behind the starters is quite impressive.  The Badgers second unit would be starters on most teams across the country.

With many skeptics questioning if the Wisconsin football offense can live up to the high expectations, no one will be betting against the offensive line.  Badger fans can look forward to this group racking up plenty of pancakes in 2018, similar to this one below.

After a somewhat disappointing performance in the Big Ten Championship game last year where they looked surprisingly over-matched at times, this unit is more motivated than ever.  These 300-pounders are hungry not only for Mickies‘ scramblers but also for domination over their Big Ten opponents.

Wisconsin’s big uglies could not be more beautiful in the eyes of Alex Hornibrook and Jonathan Taylor, the main benefactors of a successful line. Taylor is one of the best running backs in the country by many accounts. If he is to see the same success as last season, a large part of it will be due to this line. Hornibrook will also benefit and should have his jersey kept fairly clean from excellent pass protection.

Here’s how the offensive line may look under the lights of Camp Randall on August 31st against Western Kentucky.
