Center: Tyler Biadasz

Tyler Biadasz was an integral part in the success of the running game last year.  Biadasz is looking to improve upon his Freshman All-American season by becoming a more effective pass blocker.  He was utilized many times on sweeps as a pulling lineman to clear the way for Taylor and most notably pancaking defenders for Kendric Pryor and his touchdown run against Iowa.

The Amherst, Wisconsin native essentially came out of nowhere to capture the starting center position last year.  Biadasz had success on the scout team, but as a redshirt freshman, it seemed unlikely that he would crack into the starting five.  He took full advantage of spring ball and forced Joe Rudolph to pencil him as the starting center.  Biadasz’s quick growth and development bode well for the future anchor of the Wisconsin offensive line.

Despite being relatively under-recruited coming out of high school, Biadasz looks the part as the next great Wisconsin lineman.  With three more years of eligibility to develop, the sky is the limit for the redshirt sophomore.  A third-team All-Big Ten performer last year, Biadasz could find himself on plenty of first and second All-American and All-conference teams this year.  Redshirt freshman Kayden Lyles may push for playing time, but Biadasz is firmly the starter heading into fall camp.
