College Fantasy Football: Top Wisconsin Football Options
WR A.J. Taylor
Overall Rank: 397
Taylor is another step below Davis, but I’m not sure why. He’s got an extra year of experience and performed just as well in the Orange Bowl. Taylor had eight catches for over 100 yards against Miami and was one of the unsung heroes of Hornibrook’s great performance.
Nobody is quite sure how the Badger offense will go in 2018, but Taylor is just as likely to be a steal as Davis. He could even end up posting numbers that will push Cephus as the top fantasy receiver on the team. Trying to guess where targets will go in an offense like Wisconsin’s is nearly impossible. I like how Taylor performed in big games last year. His two best game came against Michigan and Miami when Wisconsin really needed to get an offense going.
The same advice I have for drafting Davis is the same advice I’ll give for Taylor. He’s worth a flier if you’re out of options, or if you believe Wisconsin’s offense will turn towards the air a bit more than in recent years. Taylor is just as likely as Davis to put up late-round or undrafted fantasy numbers. Only the biggest Badger fans in your league will pick him up.
