All your Wisconsin football gameday necessities in one place.

Wisconsin football plays its second game of the season later today against New Mexico and will try to start 2-0. The Badgers are huge favorites and this game shouldn’t be competitive for very long. We saw some good things and some not so good things from the Badgers last weekend against Western Kentucky. Most of those not so good things will hopefully be polished up by kickoff of this one.

What time

Wisconsin will kick off against New Mexico at 12:00 ET, 11:00 local time. It’s an early start, especially compared to last week’s 8:30 local start.

Where to watch

The game will be aired on television on the Big Ten Network and will also be streamed as part of the Big Ten Network 2 Go streaming service. A cable subscription is required to view this stream on the go.

The game can also be streamed online using FuboTV. You can try it out this weekend with a free trial.

Weather

The forecast for tomorrow should be warm and clear with some decent gusts of wind. Precipitation looks to be out of the question. It will be a great day for football.

Snapshot preview

Wisconsin is yet again the vastly superior team in its matchup. The Lobos are coming off a promising showing against an FCS opponent but will be facing a completely different beast in the Badgers.

Wisconsin will likely be able to run all over the New Mexico defense and put points up on the board early. The offensive line didn’t have its best showing last Friday so I expect a rebound performance from that unit.

Lots of young players got their feet wet in week one and will look to build on that confidence. Their contributions as the season goes on will be important to Wisconsin’s success.
