Wisconsin Badgers. OFFENSIVE LINE. A+. .

This unit had a great bounce-back performance this week. New Mexico still managed a sack and two tackles for loss, but the Badger big men up front paved the way for over 400 yards of rushing. That’s the kind of performance Badger fans have come to know, love, and expect.

Wisconsin seemed to simply dominate in the trenches this week on offense. Last week just looked off. This week, you could tell the line was having its way with New Mexico. It’s exactly what this group needed heading into next week’s final tune-up game against BYU.

In that game, I’ll be looking for the same thing I saw against New Mexico. The offensive line started showing why it’s been hyped up as the best unit in college football and I want to see that trend continue.

BYU will be just the latest Wisconsin football opponent with very little chance to win and it’ll be mostly due to the power the offensive line has. If it imposes its will against the Cougars the same way it did against the Lobos, the game will be over before you know it.

I may regret this grade later because the line might be deserving of an even higher grade a week from now.
