Of course, Jonathan Taylor is a guy to watch this week. Not because we’re unsure of what he’s going to do, but because he’s so good we don’t want to miss out on any of his amazing moments.

Taylor is rolling through two games so far. He’s got just under 400 yards rushing and is averaging 7.8 yards-per-carry. The only thing slowing him down is himself. He’s lost a fumble in each game so far, with the one last week coming near the goal line. He needs to clean that up, but the yards look like they’re inevitable.

Taylor will be a key part of Wisconsin’s game plan every week and could realistically be featured in this post every week too. To be fair to other players I won’t continuously mention him beyond this week unless he continues to run for 250 yards per game. He’s just on an insane pace right now and I think he’s still finding his groove. Taylor could have a monster game this week and be on fire heading into Iowa.

Despite the potential for a huge game, there is still the ball security issues that have plagued Taylor so far in his career. If he’s able to keep the ball in his hands against BYU, it’ll be a massive success, even without a ton of yards.
