Badger of Honor has you covered with a position by position breakdown of  Wisconsin Football’s 2019 recruiting class, taking a look at the committed players and additional targets the staff is involved with.

The Wisconsin football staff may be focusing the majority of its efforts on the pursuit of a Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff appearance this season, but the December signing period for the 2019 recruiting class is rapidly approaching and the Badgers will be looking to lock down a few more commitments before then.

While we can expect some new pledges before all is said and done, Wisconsin’s class is pretty much complete. As it stands now, this group could be the program’s best recruiting class in years. At the moment, Wisconsin’s 2019 class ranks No.8 in the Big Ten and No. 33 overall in the nation according to 247Sports, and boasts some special talents that don’t come around all that often in Madison.

That being said, there are a few remaining holes at some positions that the staff would like to patch up sooner rather than later, such as in the trenches on both sides of the ball and at linebacker. Look for this class to to potentially expand by three or four players within the next three months or so.

Considering all the headlines and developments that have been surrounding the Badgers on the field this season, it’s understandable if you have had a hard time keeping up with the latest news from Wisconsin on the recruiting trail. As a result, we have broken down the current status of each position group in Wisconsin’s 2019 class for you, touching on the committed prospects as well as some other names we could see added to this group.

Let’s get started.
