Badger of Honor has Wisconsin football fans covered with some intriguing matchups to check out on Saturday.

Wisconsin’s showdown with Northwestern on Saturday has always been a game Badger fans had circled on their schedules as one of the season’s key moments, considering the team’s struggles over the years against the Wildcats, and especially in Evanston.

The significance of this game is even more magnified now considering its implications on the race for the Big Ten West, as well as yesterday’s news that sophomore quarterback Jack Coan could get the first starting nod of his career as a result of Alex Hornibrook’s concussion.

That being said, this is far from the only interesting game on Saturday’s loaded slate, and the beauty of a 12:00 ET kickoff time is that Badger fans will have most of the afternoon and all of the evening to catch several other matchups that will provide further clarity on what the College Football Playoff and conference championship games could look like.

It certainly will be difficult for this weekend’s outcomes to live up the excitement of last week. Indeed, Week 7 was chalk full of fun games, from Wisconsin’s throttling of Illinois in some of the strangest weather conditions we have seen in quite a while, to Purdue’s thrilling, season-altering beatdown of the Ohio State Buckeyes. That being said, there’s a strong possibility we could be in store for even more craziness tomorrow.

Here are four matchups that you should be sure to check out this weekend, listed in order of scheduled kickoff time.
