Wisconsin Badgers wish list for 2019
Beat Michigan at home in football
Wisconsin’s 2016 regular season wasn’t technically capped off by the home win over Michigan, but that’s the game that everybody remembers from that incredible 13-win season. Beating Michigan proved Wisconsin was legit that year. It was the only real test on the schedule and the Badgers took care of business.
This year, Michigan was out for revenge. The Wolverines clobbered the Badgers in the Big House and it feels like a bit of a rivalry may be budding. Wisconsin and Michigan are in opposite divisions in the Big Ten but will face off next year for the third-straight year. The 2019 rendition of this contest will be held at Camp Randall in September. Conferences are pushing big-time matchups earlier and earlier in the season in an attempt to snatch up some primetime television slots, and this game should do just that.
The Badgers and Wolverines should both be ranked by the time this week four matchup rolls around in 2019. Both programs have a bye the week leading up to this game.
The Badgers could start 5-0 with a chance to go 6-0 against Michigan State at home during homecoming weekend. Then a road game at Illinois sets up the Badgers for a trip to the Horseshoe against Ohio State. Getting off on the right foot against the Wolverines could set the Badgers up for a championship run.
