The Wisconsin football season kicks off in just over a month. Here are some award predictions for the upcoming season.

There is still about a month before Wisconsin football kicks off at South Florida. It’s always fun to make some predictions before the start of the season and then compare them at the end of the year. This year’s squad will be looking to make rebound after last year’s disappointing results when they had such high expectations.

There will be six different categories for the predictions this year. We will look at team MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Breakout Player of the Year and Most Improved.

The Team MVP award will go to the team’s most valuable player: the player that was the most important to the success of the team. Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year will be the best player on that side of the ball. This will be different players from the MVP award.

Comeback Player of the Year will be a player who missed last season due to an injury and will come back and make a meaningful impact. The Breakout Player of the Year award will go to the player who broke out and made a much bigger difference than expected.

The Rookie of the Year award will go to a first-year player. That can be a true freshman, a redshirt freshman, or even a player who suits up for the first time.

Take a look at the predictions for this upcoming season.
