Wisconsin Basketball has three players committed in 2020, but may be looking for a couple more to join them. Here are the Top 4 targets left on the board.

Wisconsin hoops fans should be feeling pretty darn good about what Greg Gard and his staff have accomplished so far on the recruiting trail in the class of 2020.

The Badgers have reeled in commitments from three players to this point in the cycle in 3-star guards Lorne Bowman (Detroit, MI) and Johnny and Jordan Davis (La Crosse, WI). Bowman and Johnny Davis were definitely considered Plan A targets for the staff, and while few fans (including myself) originally envisioned Jordan joining this class as a scholarship player, many have definitely warmed up to the move and now feel he will bring excellent value to the program down the road with his “three and D” potential.

With three guards locked up, the Badgers have had their sights set on adding at least one, perhaps even two, frontcourt players to join them in this class. They have six offers out to uncommitted forwards/centers, but two of them are pipe dreams in 5-star Ziaire Williams (Chatsworth, CA) and 4-star Dawson Garcia (Prior Lake, MN), who each have found themselves in high-profile recruitments that include offers from blue blood programs. The other four offered players comprise the following list.

While I certainly feel that the Badgers have a stronger chance at some of these players than others, at this point in their respective recruitments, I wouldn’t necessarily count the Badgers out for any of them yet. For this piece, I’ve ranked them in the order in which I feel they would appear on Wisconsin’s recruiting board, using criteria such as program fit and the Badgers’ current standing in each of their recruitments.

Let’s get started.
