Wisconsin football bowl game predictions before Week 11.

Before the Wisconsin football team plays Michigan this weekend, let’s take a look at which bowl games experts around the internet are predicting the Badgers to play in. Even though they have missed two games, most people are still high on this Wisconsin football team and have picked them to play in a bowl game on New Years Day.

ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) was developed to measure a team’s strength and predict the games and season moving forward. According to their FPI formula, the Badgers are ranked fourth in the country behind Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson. It also gives the Badgers a 17% chance to win out, and a 75% chance to win the Big Ten West. They also give the Badgers a 29.6% chance to win the Big Ten and a 39.8% chance to get into the College Football Playoff.

Expectations for this Wisconsin football team are still pretty high, despite just playing one game this season.

Kyle Bonagura from ESPN: TransPerfect Music City Bowl vs. Tennessee (Dec. 30)

Mark Schlabach from ESPN: Outback Bowl vs. Arkansas (Jan. 2)

College Football News: Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl vs. Georgia (Jan. 1)

Joe Tansey from Bleacher Report: Playstation Fiesta Bowl vs. Oregon (Jan. 2)

Will Bender from Sporting News: Playstation Fiesta Bowl vs. USC (Jan 2.)

Steven Lassan from Athlon Sports: Citrus Bowl vs. Aubrun (Jan. 1)

Brad Crawford from 247Sports: Cotton Bowl vs. Texas (Dec. 30)

Wisconsin football still has a shot at having a successful season. As long as they don’t miss any more games to positive covid tests, the Badgers have a shot at running the table. They will need some help from other Big Ten teams to hand Purdue a loss, but other than that, the Badgers will be in control of their own destiny.

We will see how the projections change after the Wisconsin-Michigan game, but should Wisconsin win, I would think people would move the Badgers up higher in projections since Michigan is considered one of the toughest games remaining on their schedule.
