The Wisconsin basketball program has made an offer for a 2022 prospect. Coaches Joe Krabbenhoft and Greg Gard offered Braeden Moore, a 3-star power forward from Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, TN. According to 247Sports, Moore is the 166th ranked prospect in the ’22 class and the 32nd power forward in the country.

Moore announced on Friday morning that he had received an offer from Wisconsin.

The 6-8 forward now has 31 scholarship offers. He has offers from Arizona St., Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Houston, Kansas, Memphis, Nebraska, Rutgers, Tennesee, West Virginia, and more. Schools such as Florida St., Iowa, Indiana, and Xavier are also showing interest.

Moore is initially from Southern California, but his parents wanted a bit of a change and moved the family to Nashville. Now, just because he’s in Nashville right now, that doesn’t mean he would want to stay there for school. In an interview with 247Sports, he talked about how he is open to any school.

"While Moore said he has completely adjusted from the initial differences between his old home and new one, he desires to continue to expand his horizons and is open to potentially leaving Tennessee for college. Whether that means a return to the West Coast or a continued push eastward remains to be seen, but he said he is not shunning any opportunity.“It’s a great lifestyle out here and I love it out here, but I don’t really want to stay here,” Moore said. “I’m looking to get out and go to college elsewhere. I think that’s also why Arizona State really likes me because they just realize, ‘We actually have a chance of getting him.’ I just think that we’re looking at everything. There’s not a ‘no’ to any college, so that’s what we’re doing right now.”"

Joining the Wisconsin basketball program would be very different from Southern California, but if he is indeed looking to “get out and go to college somewhere,” Wisconsin would certainly provide that opportunity.

Moore joins Isaac Traudt and Braden Huff as power forwards who have offers from Wisconsin.
