1. Russell Wilson

Career earnings: $162,362,520

This is probably the least surprising player on the list. Russell Wilson is one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL. Although he was a part of the Wisconsin football program for just one season, Wisconsin fans will still claim him as a Badger.

Wilson had the best single-season ever for a Wisconsin quarterback. He threw for 3,175 yards, 33 touchdowns, and just four interceptions, giving him a 191.8 passer rating. No other quarterback in the program has ever had the success Wilson enjoyed in 2011.

He was taken in the third round (75th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft.

He won the starting job as a rookie and has been winning ever since. In his 9-year NFL career, Wilson has yet to have a losing season. He hasn’t missed a start in those nine years either. While at the helm, the Seahawks have gone 107-52-1, including the playoffs. He led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory in the 2013 season.

He has been named to the Pro Bowl seven times and won the 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Currently, Wilson is the 15th-highest-paid at any position in NFL history. Offensively, he is 14th, and at the quarterback position, he is 13th and is sure to rise up the list in the future. In his current contract, Wilson can still make up to about $100 million more.
