If you are a Wisconsin football fan and like to play Madden, odds are when you get Madden ’22 this summer, you are going to look around for the ratings of each former Badger that is on the game.

Come August 20th, you’ll get your chance to go through the game and see which former Wisconsin football players are rated too low and deserve more respect, or you can just look here! Badger of Honor went through the Madden ratings database and pulled out the ratings for every Wisconsin football player that is on the game (not everyone is on the game).

We’ll start with the highest-rated players and move our way down the list to the lowest-rated and even the players we know are in the NFL but are not in the game.

90+ ratings

Russell Wilson (94), J.J. Watt (94), T.J. Watt (94)

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to see J.J. Watt as a 94 overall. He was one of, if not the best defensive lineman in the NFL in the past 10 years, but injuries and age have seemingly caught up with him. I think he’s still a very good player, but I don’t think he’s at the same level as Russell Wilson and T.J. Watt right now at this point in his career.

Rusell Wilson and T.J. Watt are considered at or near the top of their respective positions. Them being this high in the Madden ratings is no surprise.

80-89 ratings

Ryan Ramczyk (89) Melvin Gordon (85), Jonathan Taylor (83), Kevin Zeitler (83), Joe Schobert (82), Rob Havenstein (80)

Nothing too surprising here either. Ramczyk is on his way to being one of the top offensive linemen in the league. I am a little surprised that Gordon has a higher rating than Taylor, but it’s good to see he is as high as he did.

Schobert is a tackling machine, so him sitting at an 82 seems a little low for him.

70-79 ratings

James White (78), Andrew Van Ginkel (77), Alec Ingold (75), David Edwards (72), Alex Erickson (70), Corey Clement (70), Derek Watt (70), Nick Nelson (70), Quintez Cephus (70), Vince Biegel (70)

I thought Quintez Cephus would have been higher than a 70. I think him being the same as Clement, Nelson, and Biegel doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I do like to see Andrew Van Ginkel as high as he is. He is one of the better pass rushers on the Dolphins.

60-69 ratings

Zack Baun (69), Leon Jacobs (68), Ryan Connelly (68), Dare Ogunbowale (67), T.J. Edwards (66), Tyler Biadasz (66), Eric Burrell (63), Isaiahh Loudermilk (63), Michael Deiter (63), Rachad Wildgoose (62), Olive Sagapolu (61)

59 and below ratings

Beau Benzschawel (58), Cole Van Lanen (58), Chris Orr (NR), Garrett Groshek (NR), Jon Dietzen (NR), Mason Stokke (NR), Troy Fumagalli (NR), Tyler Marz (NR)
