For the first game this year, the Wisconsin Badgers head into a matchup unranked. They have been favored in each of their first three games. Like their record, the Badgers are 1-2 against the spread, covering only against the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

This week, the Badgers will welcome the Michigan Wolverines, who are undefeated and the 14th-ranked team in the country. The Badgers and Wolverines will kick off at Camp Randall at 11:00 AM on Saturday.

Wisconsin vs. Michigan odds for Week 5:

After falling to 1-2 last week in an ugly game, the Badgers are somehow favored in this matchup. They are looking for their first conference win against the Michigan Wolverines. As of Tuesday, the Badgers are 2.5-point favorites according to the latest betting odds from WynnBET.

The moneyline for the game favors Wisconsin with odds set at -130 (Bet $130 to win $100). Michigan’s moneyline odds are set at +110 (bet $100 to win $110).

Like last week, there isn’t expected to be a ton of scoring this game. Without a pair of Graham Mertz pick-6’s, the under would have hit. This week, the over/under is even lower. WynnBET has the O/U set at just 43.5 points.

Wisconsin Injury Report vs. Michigan for Week 5:

There are a lot of names on the preliminary injury report for Week 5.

Wisconsin vs. Michigan Prediction for Week 5:

It’s hard to pick a game like this. Is Michigan for real this year, or will they falter when they start playing some real competition? Will Wisconsin be that real competition? From what we’ve seen so far this year, the Badgers will have to play a clean and almost perfect game offensively if they are going to win.

Being at home helps, but after Weeks 1 and 4, I’m just not confident that the offense is going to be able to keep up with Michigan, no matter how well the defense plays. If the offense can’t sustain drives and the defense is on the field all day, the Badgers are going to be in trouble.

Call me a cynic, but until I see that this Wisconsin offense can turn it around and be a true threat, I don’t think Wisconsin wins this game, let alone cover the 2.5-point spread.

If I were betting on this game, I would take Michigan +2.5 and bet the under of this game. I think the Wisconsin defense limits the Michigan scoring, but they don’t put many points up themselves.
