Wisconsin Game Saturday: Wisconsin vs. Rutgers Prediction, Odds, Spread, Line, Over/Under & Betting Info for NCAA Week 10
The Wisconsin football team is back. Their defense stifled the Iowa Hawkeyes, holding them to just seven points and just 156 total yards.
The Badgers continue to be in control of their own destiny. Sitting at 3-2 in the conference, the Badgers trail just Minnesota (4-1) in the Big Ten West standings, with a matchup with the Gophers in Week 13 looming. But before they have a chance to play for the Big Ten West title in four weeks, the Badgers will need to focus on Rutgers this week. Entering the week, Rutgers is 4-4 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Wisconsin vs. Rutgers odds for Week 10:
Opening up the week, the Badgers are 12.5-point favorites to win the game against the Scarlet Knights, according to WynnBET. The odds for the Badgers to cover the 12.5 points are -110 (bet $110 to win $100).
The moneyline heavily favors the Badgers as well. The odds for them to win the game outright, regardless of the spread, are -600 (bet $600 to win $100).
The over/under, which has been a low number for most Wisconsin games this year starts off this week at 38 points. The odds for the over to hit are -105 (bet $105 to win $100) and the odds for the under are set at -115 (bet $115 to win $100). So right now,

Wisconsin vs. Rutgers Prediction for Week 10:
The way the Badgers have been playing the past four weeks has given me no reason to doubt that the Badgers can win this game on the road and cover. Rutgers is coming off of a six-point win over Illinois last week but before that, they were on a four-game losing streak, getting pounded by Ohio St., Michigan St., and then losing by two scores to Northwestern, who is currently sitting near the cellar of the Big Ten West.
Wisconsin seems to have their mojo back. The defense is the best in the country in multiple categories and the running game has been figured out with the two-headed monster in Chez Mellusi and Braelon Allen. Even Graham Mertz had a stretch of really nice playing in the Iowa game, where he threw for 104 yards and a touchdown and didn’t turn the ball over once. In fact, the Badgers didn’t turn the ball over at all, which is impressive considering Iowa is one of the best teams at taking the ball away.
Things seem to be going Wisconsin’s way right now, and I would keep rolling with it. I would take Wisconsin at –12.5 this weekend against the Scarlet Knights, but probably still take the under. With the way the defense is playing, I could see the Badgers holding Rutgers to 10 or fewer points, meaning Wisconsin would have to score 28+ on the road, something they are capable of doing, but not we haven’t seen often this year.
I think the Badgers leave Rutgers with a win with a score around 24-10 or something like that.
Take the Badgers against the spread and take the under.
