Jack Sanborn by the numbers:

Overall grade: (88.1)  – 11th among qualifying linebackers

Run-defense grade:  (85.2) – 11th among all qualifying linebackers

Pass-rush grade: (81.8) – 27th among all qualifying linebackers

As it stands, Jack Sanborn is second on the Wisconsin football team in tackles (74), has (13) tackles for loss, and is third on the team in sacks (3).

Since day one, Jack Sanborn has been a terrific three-year starter for the Wisconsin football team and has been a play-maker. If you were to build your ideal inside linebacker, it would look a lot like Jack Sanborn. He’s always in the right place at the right time – and by all accounts never seems to miss an assignment.

Wisconsin has without a shadow of a doubt, the best inside linebacker tandem in the Big Ten – and likely in all of college football. Badger fans would be wise to enjoy the two while they’re still here because there is a good chance the pairing will be hearing their names called in the NFL draft come spring.
