The Wisconsin football team is set to face off with Arizona State tonight in the Las Vegas Bowl. This will be the first time the Badgers play the Sun Devil’s since the infamous game in Tempe when the referees let the clock run out after an Arizona State player laid on the football and wasted time, not allowing the Badgers to get another snap off.

This is the Badgers’ 20th-straight bowl game appearance. They are coming off of a win in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl last season and have won six of their last seven bowl games.

Wisconsin vs. Arizona State odds for Las Vegas Bowl:

The Badgers are favorites to win the game tonight. They are favored by 7 points, according to WynnBET. The odds for the Badgers to cover the spread are -115 (bet $115 to win $100). The odds for Arizona State to cover the spread are set at -105 (bet $105 to win $100).

The moneyline in the early part of the week is in favor of Wisconsin to win the game outright, with odds set at -300 (bet $300 to win $100) to win the game, regardless of the score. The moneyline for the Sun Devils is +250 (bet $100 to win $250).

The Badgers will look to finish their season out with a win.

Outside of injuries, the Badgers will have everyone back for the game. They don’t have any players opting out of the game to get ready for the draft, unlike the Sun Devils. Arizona State will have a number of players who have opted out and will miss the game. They also have a banged-up offense.

With Braelon Allen back to being healthy, I think the Badgers will be able to run the ball on the Sun Devils, taking pressure off of Graham Mertz.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Badgers are going to contain Jayden Daniels, a mobile quarterback. Mobile quarterbacks, like Adrian Martinez, have given the Badgers a bit of trouble, but with the Arizona State offense being so banged up and short-handed, I think the Wisconsin defense will be able to get after Daniels tonight and create some pressure.

I think Wisconsin wins tonight by a couple of scores. Take the Wisconsin spread and the moneyline. I’d take the over as well, but not quite as confident in that one, but I’m risking it anyway.
