Wisconsin Football vs. Conference USA

Conference USA has historically had its programs located more to the south. Four of them have never faced the Badgers.

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders: The Blue Raiders began play as an FBS school in 2000.

FIU Panthers: Florida International is another team with a short history, starting their program in 2002.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs: Louisiana is a long way from Wisconsin. It’s hard to fault the programs for never putting this game on their schedules.

Liberty Flames: Liberty has only been a full-time FBS program since 2019.

Wisconsin Football vs. Current Independents

Independents have always come and gone in college football, but there is one team currently independent that the Badgers have never played.

UConn Huskies: UConn has historic programs in other sports, but their football team became a full-time FBS program in 2002 and has yet to play a game against the Badgers.

Wisconsin Football vs. Mountain West

We’ve seen the Badgers schedule numerous non-conference games against the Mountain West over the years, which makes it unsurprising that there’s only one team from the conference that Wisconsin has never played.

Colorado State Rams: The perfect window for the two teams to play this game and have it be a quality non-conference game would’ve been during the Jim McElwain and Mike Bobo eras when the Rams were the most competitive. Unfortunately, if the Rams are on the schedule soon, it won’t be when they’re at their peak as a program.
