3 Christmas gifts Luke Fickell is hoping to unwrap this year

Merry Christmas from Badger of Honor. To celebrate, let's look at what Luke Fickell wants under the tree. There are also two other articles for what Greg Gard and Kelly Sheffield are hoping to unwrap for Christmas. For Fickell, it's three major things with a bunch of other things on his wish list. Of all the coaches at Wisconsin, he probably has the longest wish list and spent the longest time talking to Santa at the mall.

Let's narrow it down to three:

1. Luke Fickell desperately wants a healthy starting quarterback

He has yet to have a healthy starting quarterback since he became Wisconsin's head coach. Every season has featured the same issue: the starting quarterback going down to a season-altering injury. If he could unwrap anything, he'd probably want this the most. He can't even show if he's a good coach or not, if he's constantly having to rely on backup quarterbacks.

2. Luke Fickell would love to have more than 5 wins

The last two seasons for Wisconsin football have been hard to find wins. He's now going into a new season in which the schedule gets easier, and he will have a new roster. This is the year he can do i,t and Wisconsin can do it. He basically has to do it, or he's gone.

3. Chris McIntosh to actually give him more NIL money

The common reason for not firing Luke Fickell this year, given by the Wisconsin administration, is that they didn't give him enough resources. This year, they claim they will fix that and that Luke Fickell will be able to field a team in the top 1/3 of the FBS in terms of resource allocation.
