It's go time for the Wisconsin Badgers and Luke Fickell. The loss to Penn State has been flushed and now this team is getting ready to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City, a tough environment. Will a win be on the way for the Badgers?
Right now, it feels like the morale surrounding the program is a bit low. It doesn't help that Wisconsin lost a linebacker commit to Tennessee on Thursday night. However, we have a feeling the Badgers will be ready to surprise some people on Saturday night. Here are our bold predictions for the action:
4. Wisconsin's defense limits Kaleb Johnson to under 100 yards
We hate to admit it, but Iowa's Kaleb Johnson has looked like one of the best running backs in the country this year. If it weren't for Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, Johnson would hold the No. 1 spot. He's an incredible runner and has given several programs fits this season. A lot of people are expecting him to run all over the Badgers this weekend.
Well, let's hold the phone there. As a matter of fact, we're predicting the Badgers to hold him to under 100 yards in this one. That's no easy feat, as Johnson has been unreal this year, rushing for 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns. Not only that, but the speedster is averaging nearly eight yards per carry, which is unreal.
In eight games this year, only Michigan State (98 yards) and Ohio State (86 yards) have been able to prevent Johnson from hitting 100 rushing yards. Can Wisconsin become the third team to do so? We sure hope that turns out to be the case.
