1. Wisconsin takes down Iowa 24-17
It's not going to be easy, but an upset is on the way. That's right, we're going with the Badgers to leave Iowa City with a 24-17 win. Offensively, look for Locke to throw a touchdown in the second quarter, while Walker will score rushing touchdowns in the third quarter AND the game-winner in the fourth quarter for his team.
The big question mark leading up to things is how the Wisconsin defense is going to perform. Defensive coordinator Mike Tressel is going to have his hands full, especially with the plan for Johnson. Again, he's one of the best backs in the nation and the Wisconsin defense can't afford to let him break any tackles - otherwise, he'll take off.
We trust Tressel and Fickell to scheme things up that will surprise a lot of folks in Iowa City. In the end, Wisconsin will be the ones to lift The Heartland Trophy and send a statement to their rivals. We could be wrong, but look for the Badgers to win a close one on the road.
