Let's get crazy and make some bold predictions for the Wisconsin vs. Michigan State game. While Luke Fickell is doing his best to make sure his team is not feeling delusional or arrogant, it doesn't mean we can't. We can have a little fun coming up with some big predictions for the second Big Ten game of the season.
Wisconsin is hosting Michigan State on Saturday, and it's honestly hard to tell how it will go, even after the Badgers beat Penn State. There's been a ton of inconsistencies from the Badgers...all season, and the Penn State game was a great example of it. It swung in both directions, and the Badgers got away with some big problems to pull off the win.
Let's make some bold predictions:
1. Wisconsin generates 4 turnovers
Luke Fickell was frustrated that the Badgers lost the turnover battle against Penn State. This feels like a game in which Fickell and the rest of the coaching staff push for turnovers. Since simply winning the turnover battle isn't a bold enough prediction, let's put it down as 4+ turnovers.
The Spartans have had 10 turnovers already this season and had three last week against Nebraska. So, there's some foundation to this bold prediction.

2. Sebastian Cheeks has 2+ sacks
Cheeks is a menace this season, and yet he still has barely been able to get home. His sack rate has yet to match his pressure rate. His breakout game is coming, and let's get out on a limb and say that it's going to happen against Michigan State this Saturday.
Nebraska had six team sacks last week, which means that Michigan State is fully capable of letting a pass-rusher like Cheeks cause some serious problems.
3. Colton Joseph goes 100/200
Joseph is going to have a bounce-back game. He clearly was frustrated with himself and yet was able to rally and find a win in the final minutes. That's huge for his confidence. He's also very aware of the mistakes he made, and this week SHOULD BE better for Joseph.
I do think it will help Joseph if he gets something going on the ground. So let's make a bold prediction and say that Joseph has 100+ rushing yards and 200+ passing yards. That will really help the Badgers achieve the final bold prediction.
4. Wisconsin wins by at least two touchdowns

Is Wisconsin back? If they are, this game needs to show it. They need to not only beat Michigan State, but they need to beat them easily. Now, we don't need to see some sort of blowout, but a two-touchdown margin is the dream scenario.
Let's add a bold prediction here that Wisconsin not only covers the spread but wins by 14+ points. Making it an easy coast to the finish line, in which Colton Joseph is even able to take a few knees to run out the clock. That's the goal, and that's the bold prediction.
