Wisconsin had three players named to the All-Big Ten First Team as Mimi Colyer, Charlie Fuerbringer, and Carter Booth all received recognition. Colyer was also one of nine players to be a unanimous selection.
The Badgers also had Kristen Simon named to the All-Freshman team, and Alicia Andrew named as a sportsmanship honoree along with an Indiana player who's name football fans might recognize--Luca Fickell.
Badger volleyball continues to stack awards in 2025
Colyer led the team in kills this season with 484 on her way to a record five Big Ten Player of the Week awards. She was also the first overall selection in this year's Major League Volleyball draft. Fuerbringer, despite missing over a month due to a shoulder injury, led the team with 679 assists to go along with her four Big Ten Setter of the Week awards. Meanwhile, middle blocker Carter Booth led all Badgers with 113 blocks to go along with her 184 kills. Standout freshman Kirsten Simon paved the way in digs with 310 on the season.
The Badgers finished second in the Big Ten behind Nebraska, whose junior setter Bergan Reilly took home the Player of the Year award this year. Nebraska received four first-team nominations as well, leading all teams.
After finishing 24-4 in the regular season, Wisconsin earned a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face Eastern Illinois in the First Round.
