Robin Pingeton is already changing the way Wisconsin recruits, even before coaching a single game for the Badgers. She's getting visits from elite recruits and is mentioned in some top lists. There's now a 5-star elite women's recruit with NBA brothers that has Wisconsin listed among the final eight, and a visit is scheduled. Jayda Porter may be one of the highest-rated commitments to Wisconsin women's basketball ever if the Badgers can land her in the 2026 class.
It does help that Robin Pingeton is related, but it may not be enough to get the final commitment. Time will tell, but some of the best programs in the country are working to bring her in, which makes for steep competition for the Badgers, who still are working to prove they are back on the Big Ten map.

5-star Jayda Porter has a visit scheduled for Wisconsin on October 18
Jayda Porter is the sister of former 5-star players and eventual NBA players Jontay and Michael Porter Jr. She's been playing basketball her whole life and has developed into an impressive talent. At 6'3, she has the ability to score inside and outside. She can use her strength in the paint to get rebounds and box out defenders. According to one of the 24/7 Sports scouts, she's impressive in so many ways:
"Porter has the size and skill to be a major factor on the interior. Her brothers, Jontay and Michael Jr., both made it to the NBA. Jayda has the bloodline coupled with the touch on offense to be a consistent shot maker from beyond the arc or in the post. That skill set keeps opposing defenders off balance and guessing. Porter's ability to rebound and protect the rim will also be a huge asset for her future college coach. Her game is already diversified at a young age."
Wisconsin has a visit lined up with Porter for October 18, and she's narrowed her list to eight with the Badgers included. According to On3.com's Talia Goodman, Porter currently has four visits scheduled with the Badgers, with the final one pending. If she can get to Wisconsin without committing to the others, there may be a good chance the Badgers can land the niece of Robin Pingeton.
