Badgers Move Quickly on Decision Regarding Del Rio's Arrest
Wisconsin football analyst Jack Del Rio will resign according to head coach Luke Fickell. Del Rio was arrested early Friday morning after operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Del Rio crashed into a sign and showed 'signs of impairment' according to Madison Police.
Luke Fickell says Jack Del Rio will be stepping down following his arrest for OWI. Had been an analyst for the program this season.

Fickell said that he doesn't want Del Rio to be a distraction to the team saying, “It’s a tough situation, decisions that all of us have to be able to take full responsibility for. So that’s what Jack will do and we’ll continue to move forward.”
It's another unfortunate turn for the Badger program this year, which hasn't gone the way fans and coaches had hoped. The team is 5-4 heading into a huge matchup with No. 1 ranked Oregon. Del Rio had been brought in as a do-it-all type voice in the locker room, aiding both players and coaches with his decades long coaching experience. He'll now leave the program as they prepare for the top team in the country.
