Wisconsin has had an impressive game defensively against the Illinois Illini. Star freshman Mason Posa is a big reason why, with five total tackles before he got injured and was escorted off the field. He was rattled after a big tackle and even his own teammates crushing into him. He lay on the field while being attended to, left in his own power.
He spent some time in the medical tent before he finally jogged off to the locker room. The Big Ten Network eventually updated his status, saying that he was listed as questionable to return with an upper body injury.

Dannie Rogers, the Big Ten Network sideline reporter, said that she saw him favoring his left arm as he was leaving the field. She couldn't say for certain that it was an arm injury, but her speculation was that it had to do with the arm.
On the replay, it did look like Posa had his arm pinned to the ground, and his body was being swarmed by tacklers (he being one of them). The next status update will either be when he comes back in the game or, if he ends up missing the entire game, will come from Luke Fickell in his post-game press conference.
Posa has been a revelation for the Badgers this season alongside fellow freshman linebacker Cooper Catalono. He has been part of the reason Wisconsin fans have hope for the future. LBU may be back with these two stars as true freshmen.
Wisconsin leads Illinois 24-10 and is looking to win its second Big Ten game and its second-ranked game of the season.
