Oddsmakers have set odds for the Heisman winner, and The Big Ten Huddle compiled the best odds for each player in the Big Ten (for teams that had at least one on the list). There are 13 teams that have at least one player with Heisman odds. Wisconsin has one, QB1 - Billy Edwards Jr., but his odds aren't as amazing as you would imagine. The odds, though, may have Wisconsin fans doing a double-take.

Billy Edwards Jr. has +40000 odds to win the Heisman, which are among the lowest of those listed in the Big Ten
Billy Edwards Jr. has +40000 odds tow in the Heisman, according to FanDuel. These odds are fascinating, even for the casual Wisconsin fan. While on the one hand, Edwards has the second-lowest odds among notable Big Ten entries, having odds at all is impressive, considering the Big Ten has five teams that don't have any players on the list: Minnesota, Rutgers, Maryland, Purdue, and Northwestern.
For the sports better, don't be surprised if they throw a small amount on those odds, even if just to be a Wisconsin fan. The payout for a small $100 bet would net you $40,000. The chances of winning that amount are proportionate to his actual chances of winning the Heisman, so maybe not.
The fact that he has those odds at all is telling for the season; Vegas sees him as at least someone worth mentioning in the conversation. If Edwards is even mentioned in the Heisman conversation, Wisconsin fans would be pumped. That would mean there would be winning (for it takes a winning program to be mentioned) and great quarterback play. Badger fans would be thrilled with even a bowl game in this brutal schedule in front of them, a Heisman contender? Yes, please.
The chances are low, but the fact that he has odds at all may make you do a double-take if you are a Badger fan.
