Wisconsin fans are impressive ball knowers; they've always been alert and active during the game. They also know who ultimately needs to step in and fix the mess of this football program. It won't be Chris McIntosh who seems to be sitting on his hands. It will have to come from the top, Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin. During the Iowa game, the fans let her hear their frustration, booing her at halftime, too.
Really, there's not much other reason the fans would dislike her except that she also seems to be sitting on her hands. She has the power to stop the bleeding, and instead, she seems to be letting it get worse. Chris McIntosh needs to go, followed by Luke Fickell, and Mnookin is the one to do it, if she's willing.

Mnookin was booed when the score was only 23-0. She was booed before fellow Big Ten school, Penn State, decided to fire its head coach, James Franklin, who went to a college football playoff last season. She was booed before two other schools also fired their coaches.
The fans were frustrated before it became even more obvious that Mnookin and Wisconsin is truly sitting on their hands. Unwilling to fix this mess of a football program or too worried about the $25 million buyout. The buyout didn't stop Penn State, who owe Franklin double the amount Wisconsin would have to pay Fickell.
Maybe it's still coming? Perhaps the school and the athletic department are working out a way to pay the buyout or negotiate with Fickell to lower it? But the longer it takes, the more likely fans will keep booing those who are doing nothing about the losing ways of the Badgers.
