The Wisconsin Badgers are on to the Final Four as the No. 3 seed, knocking off No. 1 Texas in their own home. It was a battle from the opening serve, but ultimately the Badgers kept their foot down on the gas pedal and came out with a 3-1 victory. They will be heading to the Final Four to play Kentucky for a chance to play for another National Championship. How did they pull it off? Well, Carter Booth's viral post-game reaction may be the very reason.
When asked about her impressive performance in this tournament and their drive to get to this point, Carter Booth couldn't contain herself and dropped a quote that ESPN's censors missed. With all her passion and bravado and Mimi Colyer hanging on her shoulder, she said, "I just refuse to f***ing lose."
"I refuse to fuckin' lose"

The Final Four features two No. 1 seeds and two No. 3 seeds on each side of the bracket. Each match will feature a No. 1 vs. a No. 3. For Wisconsin, they will need to knock off their second No. 1 seed in a row, this time, Kentucky. One of the favorites to win the whole thing.
If the Badgers continue to refuse to lose, then who knows what will happen. They've been on an insane run all tournament. They won the first two games via a sweep, then beat Stanford 3-1, and now, against Texas, they won in four sets. Charlie Fuerbringer is on back-to-back 55+ assist games, and Carter Booth has been one of her favorite new targets outside of Mimi Colyer. Booth had 11 kills on 18 total attacks versus Texas.
She's hit a new gear alongside all of her teammates, who are playing as good as they have all season. They are peaking at the right time and riding the wave into the Final Four. Now, the job isn't finished as they look to bring home another National Championship.
