It's not just the catches, beat reporters that have been on site have been mentioning his name as a true freshman who has stood out. He isn't just making the random amazing catch and then disappearing on the sideline; he's showing that he really could find a way into some playing time next season.
Even if he ends up getting a bit buried on the roster next season, there is a ton of praise for his future. He truly is starting to look like a great receiver, and his potential is sky high.
Wisconsin opens the season on August 28 against Miami (OH), and that will be when we start to see how some of these spring and fall standouts actually perform when the lights turn on and the pads are popping.
