The Wisconsin Badgers pulled off their first NCAA Tournament win in 16 years over Dartmouth in a 5-1 victory. Though it was a tied 1-1 game going into the third period, Hauser didn't have a ton of action, but he pulled off a stick save by throwing his stick, leaving the internet stunned.

It's one of those highlights that you watch multiple times because of how impressive it was, and really how dangerous it was. It worked out for Hauser in a beautiful way that even sent the puck to the corner. Watch the replay below:

Wisconsin showed off an offensive performance to push past Dartmouth in round 1

Hauser didn't have a ton of work against Dartmouth, even though he had the most insane highlight of the day. He only had to make 13 saves as compared to the 23 that Dartmouth's Emmett Croteau had to pull off. The Badgers got three by him, and their final goals were empty-netters.

Dartmouth did a great job of keeping the game close for as long as possible, but when Jack Horbach broke the tie in the third, the Big Green began to press, leaving another opportunity for Simon Tassy (his second of the game). It was at this point that the Big Green had to pull the goalie to try to find some offense. That only backfired for two more Wisconsin goals.

It was a great game by Mike Hastings' Badgers to seal their first playoff win under him. He has the program on the right path, and yet there's still more juice left in this season. They won't be content with one simple win; Wisconsin is looking for more.

Their next opponent is against a familiar foe in the Michigan State Spartans. The two teams split against each other during the season 2-2. Wisconsin vs. Michigan State takes place in Worcester, Massachusetts, for a chance to advance to the Frozen Four in Las Vegas.
