One of Wisconsin's top 2026 commits continues to show off his elite play-making abilities in his senior high school season. Jayden Petit is becoming one of the best players in the state of Florida and in the country, with impressive performance after impressive performance. This week, Jayden Petit put up crazy numbers for St. John Neumann High School.

Petit, a 4-star wide receiver recruit, had nine catches for 300 yards and three touchdowns. According to Naples Daily News, this puts him at 29 receptions, 716 yards, and 12 touchdowns in just the four games of the early season for Petit.

Petit is one of the most exciting players in the Wisconsin recruiting class and will be part of an electric trio of 2026 receivers to join the Badgers. 3-star Tayshon Bardo is the glue to the recruiting class, and 3-star Zion Legree is the other two receivers to be coming into the fold with Petit.

Wide receivers coach Jordan Reid has proven he can bring in top talent from across the country, and while the season has been disappointing for Wisconsin fans, there's hope in the future.

If Luke Fickell continues as the coach in the future, the good news is that the 2026 class appears to be loaded with talent. The class features two 4-star players in Amari Latimer and Jayden Petit, with a bunch of 3-stars on the cusp.

Petit was considered an enormous steal for Wisconsin to go into Florida and grab one of the best players. Petit had 32 offers, including schools like Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri, and many more.

Wisconsin is on a bye week this week but will be taking on Michigan next week in Ann Arbor.
