After the New York Giants fell to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, they dropped to 0-3 on the season. With the poor start, fans are obviously disappointed, and after the game many were calling for the former Badger quarterback Russell Wilson to be benched.
When the Giants bench Russell Wilson they will be able to play like a real NFL team

Alright, time to bench Russell Wilson, he's back to being washed.

I think it’s time Russell Wilson hits the bench. The team needs a spark. It’s time… bring in Dart. Can’t be any worse as a rookie!

With first round pick Jaxon Dart waiting in the wings, pressure has been mounting on head coach Brian Daboll to make a switch, but so far he's been mum on his plans for next week and beyond.
“We’re working through all personnel decisions. We’ll do that in the next few days,” Daboll said in his postgame press conference. “I’d say we’re evaluating everything.”
Could this be the end for Russell Wilson in the NFL?

It's been a wild ride for Wilson so far in 2025. In week one, he passed for just 168 yards in the loss to Washington. The next week, however, he followed it up with a monster 450-yard day in a losing effort to the Dallas Cowboys. On Sunday night, he regressed again throwing for just 160 yards to go along with two interceptions. The bottom line, though, is that the Giants continue to lose, and Wilson's time as the starter could be coming to an end sooner rather than later if the losses continue to stack up.
After taking the Badgers to the Rose Bowl in his lone season, Wilson had several incredibly successful years with the Seattle Seahawks, including a Super Bowl victory. He is 15th all-time in passing yards and 12th all-time in passing touchdowns in the NFL.
