In a game that was already well out of reach for the Wisconsin Badgers, the injury report pre-game makes it even further out of reach. About half the team seems to be OUT or questionable. It's one of the most cluttered-up injury reports you've ever seen, as bad news goes to worse news with a series of important players on the shelf against the Oregon Ducks.

The Wisconsin Badgers have 17 players listed as OUT and 4 are questionable against the Oregon Ducks

They may need to pull fans out of the stands to help play this football game with as many players as Wisconsin has listed as out. There are 16 players listed as OUT, one as 'out for the season', and four as questionable. The miserable part of it is that most of these players are starters.
Among the notable players listed as 'OUT' there is starting quarterback Billy Edwards, who has barely played at all this season, starting center Jake Renfro, starting safety Preston Zachman, starting OLB Christian Alliegro (who broke his arm last game), both starting and backup running backs Dilin Jones and Darrion Dupree. That's a big YIKES for the Badgers.
In many ways, it feels like this injury report is more stuffed than it usually is because head coach Luke Fickell may know this game is a lost cause and is letting all these players get an extra week of rest before the bye week. Hopefully, it's not stuffed because Fickell needs a new excuse for why the Badgers can't win or even score points at all.
It's going to be hard to watch if Vegas is right that the Badgers are 31.5 underdogs to the Ducks, and it plays out that way. But it's where the season has gotten to, and many fans have already turned off the season and moved on to basketball.
