Wisconsin women's hockey is about to get a major spotlight on Monday. Former Badger Hilary Knight, captain of the U.S. Women's hockey team, will be on Jimmy Fallon with Quinn and Jack Hughes. The two teams won gold medals in the same year for the first time in program history. Knight has been very public about elevating women's hockey and lifting up the US programs (both men and women).
Knight has even used the controversial phone call from President Donald Trump to the men's team as an opportunity to pivot the conversation toward elevating US hockey and women's hockey.

Hilary Knight will join Jack and Quinn Hughes on Jimmy Fallon
This is Knight's swan song, and he's going out with a big bang. She not only got to win a gold medal and be the team captain, but she also got to be the closing ceremony flag bearer. Now, she will join the stars of the men's team on late-night television.
Knight played for Wisconsin and is still a proud Badger. She played from 2007 to 2012 for Wisconsin and continues to be a champion for Wisconsin women's hockey, helping the current and future Badgers on their way up.
Knight has appeared in five Winter Olympics now, spanning from 2010 to 2026. She has two gold medals and three silver medals. She's not only one of the most decorated women's hockey players of all-time, but one of the more decorated Olympians in US history. Knight has 15 goals in the Olympics, making her the top Olympic goal scorer in US hockey history. She's also at the top of the points chart in the US Olympics with 33 total points.
You know that on Fallon, she will not only elevate women's hockey but she will be proud to be a US gold medal wearer, and it will be good to see the men's and women's teams side-by-side praising each other.
