Former Wisconsin linebacker Jaheim Thomas has been generating plenty of interest from NFL teams this week at the Hula Bowl in Orlando. He and teammates Nyzier Fourqurean and Jake Chaney were among over 100 seniors looking to showcase their skills for NFL scouts. According to Ryan Fowler, Thomas has met with over 10 teams already including the the Badger-loving Pittsburgh Steelers and many more.

In his lone season at Wisconsin, Thomas tallied 53 tackles and one sack. The Arkansas transfer had 90 tackles and 3.5 sacks the year prior with the Razorbacks. Although his numbers with the Badgers weren't anything to write home about, at 6-4, 245 pounds, Thomas has the size and athleticism that NFL teams will covet.

While Thomas is projected as a Day Three pick or potentially even undrafted, this week in Orlando could give his draft stock a boost with a strong performance. He's already garnered the attention of a third of the teams in the NFL. While official stats for Saturday's game haven't been posted, just getting an invite is sure to get on the radar of NFL teams.

According to Draft Network's Damian Parson, Thomas is a "versatile and physical defensive weapon who impacts all three downs in multiple ways and from multiple alignment positions.” His biggest weakness, and one that might keep him from rising in the draft, are his coverage abilities. But regardless, Thomas has an NFL body and is a strong presence in the run game.

The former Badger has a decent chance of hearing his name called in April's draft, along with teammates Jack Nelson, Hunter Wohler and Joe Huber.
