Former Badger Mimi Colyer already receiving an incredible honor in her rookie season

After Mimi Colyer dominated the Big Ten and was one of the premier hitters in all of the NCAA last season. She was chosen to play for Dallas Pulse volleyball a team in the professional volleyball league, Major League Volleyball. She's already taken over for Dallas and, in her rookie season, has been chosen to be on the MLV All-Star team.

It will come as no surprise to Badger fans as they watched her take over matches and will victories into existence for Wisconsin last season. It actually won't come as a surprise to the Major League Volleyball community, either, or Dallas Pulse fans. Not only has she been electric all season, but she was also the number one draft pick for Major League Volleyball last season.

Mimi Colyer is an All-Star in her first season as part of the Dallas Pulse in Major League Volleyball

Colyer is the second leading point scorer per set on her team with 4.96, behind Sofia Maldonado Diaz, who has 4.97. Colyer is leading the team in kills at 335 at .298 efficiency. Colyer is not only leading the team in kills, but she's also leading the entire league. She is also 7th in aces.

Colyer is already a force in the league and continues to show that she's one of the best players in the world. She got to show off her prowess at the league's all-star match.

Colyer for the Badgers ended up being one of the semifinalists for the AVCA Player of the Year with 5.28 per match (third nationally). She helped the Badgers finish with a 20-4 record and led them through a few rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

The all-star match was on March 28, at 11 am CT. Colyer was one of the starters and helped not only represent Dallas Pulse, but also her own prowess, and the Wisconsin Badgers.
