Steven Crowl is an interesting basketball prospect. He's 7 feet tall, can shoot the three, and can play back to the basket down low. He's drawing intrigue from NBA teams ahead of the NBA Draft at the end of the month. While he seemed destined for an international career, the NBA intrigue is causing some fans to turn their heads and wonder if there is a team that may take a G-League flyer on him.

The other day, Steven Crowl added his fourth workout for an NBA team with the New Orleans Pelicans. He has also worked out with the Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Denver Nuggets. Does this signal a chance for Crowl to make an NBA team or even be drafted?

The chances are still pretty strong that Crowl will end up playing overseas and he's got the playing style and frame to make some real noise internationally. However, with all the latest attention there could be a chance that an NBA team decides to bring him on with a G-League contract or even a training camp invite.

A G-League contract is exactly what it sounds like—basically, the NBA's minor leagues. The team doesn't plan to bring you up for at least a year. If they did, they would sign the player to a two-way contract, which allows the player to swing up or down depending on the NBA team's needs.

It will be interesting to see if he continues to pick up more NBA workout invites ahead of the June 26-27 NBA Draft.
